This is the first time when a mobile phone operator in Indonesia launches the service, Nokia notes, adding that Telkomsel’s subscribers will enjoy access to their email accounts straight from their Nokia mobile phone. Moreover, the carrier is also said to be the first one in the world to offer Nokia Messaging for Instant Messaging to its prepaid customers. “As the best and leading mobile lifestyle and solutions provider in the region, we always aim to deliver the best service to all of our customers. We have demonstrated our strong commitment to offering innovative mobile email solutions and are proud to be the first to deliver Nokia Messaging to the Indonesia market and the first to provide prepaid charging for Nokia Messaging’s IM service to meet our consumers needs,” said Rachel Goh, Telkomsel’s vice president of Product Lifecycle Management.

Nokia Messaging, is a widely known fact, comes as an easy to set-up and easy to use push email service that enables users to access up to ten personal email addresses directly from their mobile phone.
